Recippa respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how Recippa collects, uses, and protects information when you use the Recippa mobile app, website, and related services.

This website is a static website. It does not use cookies, analytics, advertising pixels, or tracking scripts.

Recippa does not sell your personal information. Recippa does not use data collected in the app to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies for advertising purposes, and Recippa does not share data with data brokers.

Information Recippa May Process

Recippa may process information you provide or create in the app, including food photos, recipe photos, recipe screenshots, handwritten notes, cookbook pages, pasted recipe text, recipe links, generated recipe drafts, ingredients, cooking steps, nutrition estimates, cookbook names, shopping list items, preferences, and cooked-history entries.

Recippa may also process app usage, device, diagnostic, and subscription information needed to operate purchases, manage access, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and provide support.

Photos and Camera Access

Recippa uses camera and photo library access only when you choose to take or import photos. Photos you select may be used to generate recipe drafts, extract recipe information, or save recipe-related images in your library.

You can manage camera and photo library permissions in your device settings.

AI Processing

When you use AI features, content such as photos, recipe text, recipe links, and cooking instructions may be sent to AI service providers, including OpenAI, to generate or improve recipe drafts, ingredients, steps, timing, servings, nutrition estimates, or related outputs.

AI results may be incomplete or inaccurate. Always review recipes before cooking or relying on them.

Subscriptions and Payments

Recippa uses Apple's in-app purchase system for subscriptions. Payment is handled by Apple. Recippa does not collect or store your full payment card details.

Subscription status may be processed through trusted subscription management providers, including RevenueCat and Superwall, to unlock paid features, restore purchases, and manage access.

How Information Is Used

Information may be used to provide app features, generate recipe drafts, save and organize recipes, create shopping lists, process subscriptions, respond to support requests, improve reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Service Providers

Recippa may share limited information with service providers that help operate the app, such as AI processing, subscription management, app infrastructure, diagnostics, and customer support. These service providers may process information only as needed to provide their services to Recippa.

Recippa does not authorize service providers to use your app data for third-party advertising, cross-app tracking, or data broker services.

Data Storage and Retention

Recipe data may be stored locally on your device. Some features require processing by third-party services. Information is kept only as long as needed to provide the app, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce terms.

Your Choices

You can delete recipes and other app content inside the app or by uninstalling the app. You can manage app permissions in device settings. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings.

Children's Privacy

Recippa is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new updated date.
